Under the direct supervision of the Director of Analytics and Evaluation, the Sr. statistical analyst will provide critical support in design, development and implementation of evaluation projects in health care services and patient engagement initiatives. This individual will be expected to have the requisite content knowledge to drive the evaluation in partner with regional leaders on workflow efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction outcomes from various program initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with quality organization leaders on innovative programs that improve care quality and affordability
Partner with the businesses and use analytic expertise to solve business problems
Develop and document program evaluation specifications
Prioritize and coordinate multiple work efforts
Providing consultation and statistical support to principal investigators and project managers
Developing tools (macros) and systems for implementation of statistical procedures in data management, augmentation and analysis
Provide ad hoc advice on statistical methods
Conducting data/text mining analyses, multilevel modelling and propensity score matching.
Program on PC and UNIX server based platforms using SAS and other statistical software.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL OFFER:

Advanced degree or equivalent and at least 6 years' experience in related healthcare analytics, preferred
Leadership competencies with the ability to collaborate with others and establish working relationships, communicate effectively across the organization and at different levels
Translate business needs into practical applications and solutions
Deep healthcare data (eg, encounters, risk, groupers), statistical analysis experience, and demonstrated understanding of health care and delivery system processes
Demonstrated knowledge in statistical theories specifically multilevel models, multivariate analysis, predictive modelling, data/text mining, propensity score matching and experience in applying the theories in analyses.
Experience in managing the design, development, and continuous improvement of complex healthcare data systems, tools, and analytical processes
Advanced programming skill in SAS, preferred
