Field Test Contractor - GSM, GPRS, EDGE- FarnboroughIC Software has an urgent need for a Field Test Contractor based in Hampshire.
The candidate applying for this role must have:
- Knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EDGE technologies.
- Be comfortable with travelling across Europe 50% of the time .
- Be able to adopt new testing techniques.
- Knowledge of WCDMA/LTE would be preferred.
This position is with one of the worlds largest suppliers of UMTS chip sets. The individual in this position should be willing to travel regularly and have done field test work in the past. They must be comfortable working with and on UMTS, 2G, GERAN based platforms. Being comfortable with debugging and analysing data is also a must for this role, along with having experience of mobile phone interfaces which is considered essential. Finally, any knowledge in C and Pearl knowledge would be extremely beneficial as well as any experience or familiarity with modern GSM mobile interfaces.
