Experience:

- 4+ years of information security experience, preferably within a global, regulated industry is required.

- Strong knowledge of WinMagic SecureDoc solutions, including similar technologies, and experience with auditing bodies is required.

- Strong knowledge and clear documented experience regarding the administration and support of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003, Server 2008) and Windows-based laptop hardware, predominantly Lenovo.

- Must demonstrate application experience with the ability to learn new technologies with strong technical and problem solving abilities.

- Candidate must have some networking experience, and be able to articulate the relationship between the systems, the applications and the network, as applicable.

- Demonstrated ability to contribute to complex projects, priorities and multiple tasks is required.

- Possessing the credibility and presence to act as subject matter inspections is required.

The Security Administrator is responsible for participating in the implementation and operation of a global Hard Drive Encryption (HDE) solution. This solution includes WinMagic SecureDoc encryption technology.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for troubleshooting complex desk side deployment issues as escalated during implementation and must be able to identify the required resources to expedite fixing related problems.

- Responsible for server administration of the technical environment (WinMagic SecureDoc), ensuring availability and reliability of the HDE Servers and application. This includes the administration of the associated Operating System (OS) and applications, including but not limited to installation, upgrading, maintaining, patching, monitoring, reviewing system parameters, responding to clients, supporting clients and reporting. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting as necessary, and must be able to identify the required resources to expedite fixing related problems.

- Responsible for the account management of the application and ensure proper access and accountability for the users and system accounts.

- Responsible to interface with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure proper functioning of all aspects of this solution as well as ensure the integrity of systems and application.

- Responsible for the day today activities, including reviewing system and security logs, reviewing application logs, responding to user requests, ensuring availability, monitoring system availability as well as system thresholds, including but limited to, storage limits, performance criteria, backup requirements, etc.

- Collaborating and partnering with the associated vendors responsible for the HDE solution.
