Online Architect - Contract - Telecoms - Netherlands
My client are seeking an experienced Online Architect who has extensive experience working within the telecoms market to work initially on a 3 months project with a strong possibility of being extended for up to 2 years.
Skills and experience
* Experience in the design and development of scalable Consumer/Business Web Applications
* Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle, in particular using Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
* Design, build and test network/application components.
* Excellent working knowledge of a selection of these technologies and applications including:
o J2EE, PHP
o Web Services (SOAP, REST)
o Data Interchange Formats (XML,JSON)
o SQL Server, LDAP, NoSQL Solutions
* Web Application Security Standards (OWASP etc.)
* Good operational knowledge of network infrastructure, Operating Systems (Windows, Red Hat, Solaris), Virtualisation (VMware ESX), Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL solutions) and related applications.
* Familiarity with existing web technologies and future trends especially in Mobile communication industry
* Good knowledge of relevant protocols and standards (TOGAF, W3C)
