NHS Speech & Language Therapist - Band - Adult Community Dysphagia - Full time - 6 months - NottinghamReal Staffing are currently looking for an experienced Band 6, NHS accredited Speech & Language Therapist to join a multi-disciplinary team working in the community. This is a full time 6 month locum contract opportunity.
We are looking for locums with experience in the following areas:
- Band 6 NHS experience
- Adult Speech & Language Therapy experience
- Must have post-graduate dysphagia training
- Community experience, including domiciliary visits
- Experience working with elderly patients
- Good IT skills for managing patient records and diarising
- MUST be a car driver with access to your own car
The locum role is to start on the 23rd of September 2013 and is for 6 months subject to the the Trust's waiting list pressures and demands on the service. You will be part of an experienced MDT based in at a large community base.
Suitable applicants must have the following criteria:
- Band 6 NHS experience
- Experience adult dysphagia, general speech disorders
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- HPC registered
- Valid Passport
- CRB checked (clean)
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Car driver with own car
- Occupational Health Checks
- Mandatory Training
- Clinical references x 2
