Description
Job Responsibilities:Proactively identify continuous process improvement opportunities for the Site through analysis of process performance metrics and customer feedback.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with line management, project team leaders and staff members as required.
Educate and mentor line management, project team leaders and staff members in continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
Seek continuous improvement opportunities by identifying and sharing best practices across the organization and network.
Assist OE group peers in deploying a strategy to build capability across the Site in continuous improvement methodologies.
Lead cross-functional teams to support operational level programs to build Site capabilities (Kaizen Deployment teams, etc.)
Who You Are
Job Requirements:
Education
- BA/BS required
- MBA or other advanced degree a plus
Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical or other high tech industry.
Formal training in LEAN/DMAIC/Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
1-2 years of experience in the direct application of LEAN/DMAIC Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
Formal training in project management methodologies preferred
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and operations staff
Ability to represent VVBOS group as a support contact on initiatives and projects
Solid influence and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with others in a proactive, positive and constructive manner
Solid decision making, leadership, written and verbal communication skills
Direct experience in manufacturing or supply chain a plus
Direct experience in training/adult learning methodologies a plus
