Job Description
Universal Music Group is seeking an energetic and experienced Mobile Application Developer for a Contract/Contract-to-Hire position.
The selected candidate will serve as programmer/developer for ongoing iOS, Android and Desktop Web & Mobile based projects within UMG's Rights and Repertoire group. The right individual must be detail oriented, enjoy complex problem solving and possess the ability to quickly and gracefully adapt to changing needs and requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop, test and deploy user interface, service tier and data tier components for complex applications, including server-based web applications and iOS, Android mobile applications.
Participate in the full SDLC process (with specialty in coding) of mobile iOS, Android and Windows application solutions.
Participate in discussions and provide best practices for Mobile UX/UI/Usability and design.
Regularly meet with users and technical staff to help gather and define business and system requirements

Job Skills
Required
2+ years developing and publishing iOS, Android and Windows Mobile Applications
Advanced HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, jQuery (and/or other frameworks)
Advanced MVC, Objective C, C++ and/or JAVA
Advanced Information Architecture, Human Computer Interaction and Usability Design principles and patterns
Advanced knowledge of Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
Experience with synchronization of data captured on a mobile device w/enterprise Back End apps
Experience with integration of data captured on a mobile device w/enterprise Back End apps
Highly Desired
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with various mobile and web based Analytic Tools (piwik, Google Analytics, etc.)
Experience with Object Oriented Design and programming principles
Experience with setting up and integrating Cloud Based Solutions (AWS, etc.)
Familiarity with Version Control Systems (CVS and SVN)
