A Software Quality Engineer is required by A global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. The systems they manufacture are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products.The Software Quality Engineer will operate in a team that is responsible for quality improvement for the software cluster.

Job Description
Software Quality Engineer comprises the following tasks and activities:
• Definition and implementation of systems that provide measurement data on achieved software quality and software development process adherence.
• Interpretation of resulting measurement data: identifying deviations from agreed targets, identify causes and propose corrective actions
• Providing support in the analysis of “mishaps” to determine root-causes and identify (process) improvements
• Supporting or leading (small) quality projects that implement agreed (process) improvements
• Coaching teams in (re)-gaining control of both the measured and the customer perceived quality of their software deliveries by providing instructions, presentations, refresher training, moderating reviews, etc.
• Training/coaching employees at the start of their career in the use of the Software Development process and related tooling.
The Software Quality Engineer is required to operate both on a level defining and implementing process improvements and metrics on a purely operational level of measuring quality, reporting findings to various groups and providing operational support to improvements.
Job Requirements
• At least Bachelor in Software Engineering or Business Administration, Green Belt six sigma.
• 5-10 years of experience in software development.
• Preferably a background or proven track record in software quality and software process improvement
