- Interact across multiple disciplines from the point of Inquiry through Startup and Commissioning.
- Coordinate and review all Controls/Automation requirements
- Coordinate and review all technical and commercial requirements with the 3rd party vendors prior to proposal to insure all scope components of the Contract are in the proposal and/or Costing Model.
- Serve as Lead Controls/Automation contact in project meetings between engineering, project management project operations and client.
- Monitor and drive the progress of all Controls/Automation related activities for the projects assigned.
- Coordinating With Mechanical Engineers during PID development,
- Developing Controls System Architectures
Skills/Tools:
- Demonstrated competence developing and administering Allen Bradley PLC based control systems, particularly using Control, Compact and Flex Logix hardware. Allen Bradley Programming (RS Logix5000) and HMI-(RSView) experience required.
- AutoCAD and/or CADWorx experience is a Plus.
Education/Experience:
- A Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering or IT vocational degree
- 1 - 5 years experience in Industrial Automation, preferably with Distributed I/O topologies in the oil and gas industry.
Being Local to Houston Is a plus.
