Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the installation, administration, configuration, security, customization, performance tuning and troubleshooting of:
- WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
- IBM HTTP Server
Candidate will be involved in establishing standards and guidelines for WAS/Portal/WCM related solutions. There should be strong familiarity with Sun Solaris or Oracle Solaris operating system. This position will have heavy collaboration with other Middleware technologies such as Oracle Access Manager, MicroStrategy, Informatica and LDAP.
Candidate Technical Background:
- Candidate should have WebSphere Application Server technical background with either Solaris or Unix experience. Preference would be Solaris, but manager will consider a candidate who has either Solaris or Unix.
- Candidate also should have experience supporting production Application Server infrastructure running Java based applications.
- Technical knowledge around troubleshooting Java applications and WebSphere Application Server are "required".
- Candidates must have deep and current knowledge of SUN systems.
