My Client is a world leading manufacturer of technical papers and employes over 4000 employees worldwide. This Company is highly recognised in being the leading supplier in paper products which are produced from bespoke machines.The company is currently looking for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent basis in order to raise machine reliability. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be actioning and developing maintenance practices to ensure best in industry standards.
The Successful candidate will be degree qualified or have another suitable qualification (HNC), project management experience and the capability to develop formal systems. Ideally 5 years work experience in an industrial setting and the ability to communicate well,including written forms. Experience with PLC/DC Drives is also essential.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain automation systems/Instrument.Control Systems
*Problem solving for control system faults
*Run Automation/Control Panels
*Do Schematic AutoCAD drawings
*Work closely with Metso & Honeywell on QCS systems
*Updates to replace old elctro pneumatic controls to Automated systems.
