Migration Planning Network Engineer- USA

Migration Planning Network Engineer is urgently needed for one of our Clients, a major international Telecommunication Company. This is a long term contracting role, starting ASAP, which can be performed remotely, but following American time zone.


Technical and soft skills required:

• Experienced with Migration Planning activities, including the coordination of Genband and Customer deliverables involved on a migration. (i.e. DMS100 to CS2K, DMS100 to C20, DCO to C20, 1A to C20, EWSD to C20, etc).
• Strong knowledge on IP (certifications are desirable).
• Good knowledge on VOIP and IMS standards, including SIP protocol.
• Good knowledge on other Telephony and VOIP protocols such as R2, ISUP, H323, H248, Diameter, etc.
• Engineering, Deployment and Live-Network Integration skills.
• Desirable knowledge on Genband (and former Nortel) products such as: C20 (aka CS2K), ATCA based C20, MG15K, A2 (aka MCS or A2E), Q20 (aka S3), C3, G9,
• Experience on products from other vendors is also desirable.
• Very experienced on Solutions, how products connect on and end-to-end solution
• Previous experience with OSS systems/integration is desirable.
• Very strong on communication skills, and interface with different teams and organizations.
• Very good presentation skills, also capable of making PowerPoint presentations both detailed and executive oriented.
• MS Office.
• Fluent English; Spanish is desirable.
