Description
We urgently require a Sr. Oracle DBA in Jersey City, NJ (onsite) for a 6+ month, ongoing C2C contract. The assignment sits within the technical infrastructure Program.
You will be working in a multi-faceted function on large scale Database and Server migrations. A technical background is required, with an understanding of the ITIL Processes including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Responsibilities:
- Oracle related production support.
- Involvement in support of current environment issues
- A point of escalation for major issues arising during migration of databases based in the US.
- Understanding of risk analysis and assessment.
- Documentation of process and concepts to assist in even distribution of knowledge in the wider database teams.

- DR, Dev., Prod & UAT Environments, RAC Cluster, Exadata, OEM, ASM and Powerbroker
