Leading global bank requires an experienced Sybase DBA with development skills for the delivery of a risk based product control system within their finance IT team. As part of a team of four developers you will be responsible for leading the Sybase performance tuning and development but will also be confident in Java and Unix.Sybase - 12 Month Contract - £550 per day - CanaryWharf
Based in Canary Wharf this global banking organisation are willing to pay up to £550 per day on the basis of a 12 month contract for a candidate with upwards of five years Sybase DBA / development experience gained within the financial services sector.
Essential Sybase technical experience:
- Sybase or MS SQL and T-SQL development and performance tuning
- Core Java development experience
- Unix development experience
Further Sybase / SQL development skills:
- Full SDLC including requirement gathering
- Solid working knowledge of derivatives including rates, FX and equity
- Exposure to Actimize AIS and RCM
