Description

A Sequence Engineer is required by a global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products.

Job Mission
As a Sequence Engineer, you will support machines in the field as well as develop ideas on how to improve new products and processes that are currently under development. The Sequence Engineer is responsible to quantify the availability of the scanner at the customer site. Using fast replacement and recovery processes, the field service engineer must be able to service the scanner and provide maximum up-time. Also, since you will be making this positive impact in new products, you will be expertly qualified to define and write the associated documentation on spare parts, tooling and servicing documentation for our global service organisation.

Job Responsibilities
You will work with our customers, suppliers and our own product development teams, as well as our training departments. Since you will interface with a wide range of nationalities and cultures, you will need well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly. But above all, you must have the ability to continually seek and identify genuine opportunities for product improvement - ideas that can be implemented by our new product development teams.
Main tasks, responsibilities & deliverables Tasks, responsibilities and deliverables:
- Represent the field service organisation and ensure its requirements are implemented in the design and related processes on system level.
- Define and maintain complex replacement sequences for scanner for major replacements.
- Implement technical and logistic steps in the replacement sequences.
- Identify all required resources (work instruction, tooling, cleanroom-space, storage-area, spare-parts and engineers) that are needed to execute the replacement process.
- Identify issues and steer towards improvements for the different development teams to reduce replacement time and resolve bottle-necks.
- Support colleague equipment engineers in the different developments teams.
- Knowledge transfer to local service organisations for all major replacements for our machines.
