Clinical Database Engineer

Duration: 6 months
Location: Brussels

Main Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining clinical databases.
• Securing access to clinical databases.
• Ensuring and maintaining the blinding on data.
• Documenting accesses and blinding break .
• Transfer of clinical data (IN/OUT).
• Transfer of immunological data from LIMS database to clinical database.
• Delivering of SAS data sets, analysis data sets to statistician.
• Ensure maintenance and update of our SOPs / WPs.
• Ensure respect of standard and quality.
• Analysing, implementing and documenting updates on clinical data that cannot, or not efficiently, be performed through the existing functionalities of the system. Support (DM, STAT, …). Development / Improvements (process & programs). QC SBIR.

Prerequisites

• Ideally a bachelor degree or higher in IT or scientific disciplines or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English
• Programming: at least SQL; PL/SQL (SAS and VBA are an asset).
• Project management.
• IT validation environment
• Experience in a pharmaceutical / scientific environment is an asset.
