Our client is a leading Consulting, Systems Integration and Application Management company, specialized in the creation and implementation of solutions based on new communication networks and digital media.



JOB OVERVIEW

We are searching for a qualified and highly motivated Client Service Manager with consultancy and/or digital agency experience or similar in open source technologies and websites management with a specific expertise in cloud hosting solutions.
This position is responsible for positively impacting the Clients’ operations and realizing successful introductions of new solutions. This will be accomplished by gaining a thorough understanding of the Clients' business in which they compete, the corresponding IT initiatives, identifying needs which we can help resolving, developing compelling business value proposals and ultimately closing business.
This position is further responsible for developing and maintaining trusted relationships with the C- suite, senior level decision makers, and other key buyers within the assigned accounts.
The candidate will join an entrepreneurial business unit within a large organization, interacting with a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic team with the opportunity to work in international projects and clients.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Part technologist, part consultant, the Service Manager will need to mainly work for a Client that is a leading brand in the food industry, being on site and assuming a key role.
Representing a trusted advisor and acting as an advocate, He/She will have the responsibility to directly manage the Client in relation to the specific service, supporting all the related activities of maintenance and evolution, with a specific attention to the SLA and defined KPIs.
The candidate will be the main conduit for innovation and client “objective realization,” working closely with its departments to solve infrastructure, content delivery and application challenges, therefore translating them into a series of practical solutions and project plans.
The Service Manager is requested to use effective project management methodologies and tools to define and implement procedures, to ensure ongoing enhancements, integrations and operations and to successfully support solutions development and deployment (risk analysis, budget, timeline, resources, etc.).
The Service Manager will also collaborate with, and effectively coordinate remote team(s).



REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree, preferably in technical discipline, or higher
Project Management Professional (PMP) or actively working towards a designation desired
5+ years of experience at a consultancy, digital agency or similar in open source technologies and websites management with a specific expertise in cloud hosting solutions.

Solid knowledge of cloud computing technologies (Amazon and competitors), particularly Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service, and deep understanding of the Cloud impact on customers´ and partners´ business
Experience with WordPress, TYPO3, PHP, .Net, MySQL, Linux, IIS and other possible open source technologies
Proven experience in managing highly-complex, technically-challenging projects, with solid engineering, scripting, and data analysis skills; self-sufficient data analyst and technologist. Experience working with IT and Technical Operations teams but also Marketing and Business departments
Familiarity with project methodologies and standards (PLC, DLC, ITIL) and tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels with client, 3 parties and internal teams
Outstanding organizational, prioritization, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deliveries and be proactive in approach to planning, monitoring and execution.

German native speaker or equivalent; fluent in English.

Confectionary food industry knowledge, would be a plus Italian language would be a plus.
