Requirements:

Smart, friendly, gets stuff done.

Proactive, and hardworking.

Competent Ruby on Rails coder

Willing to dive in and learn by doing.

Day-to-Day:

Collaborate with the product owner on mockups and turn these into well-implemented, useful features

Spend the majority of your time on back-end rails code, but also work on front-end code to complete features

Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks, refactor code that needs it, write tests to help keep the system safe while the team moves quickly
