Description
Montash have been engaged by a global consultancy to source and secure a Senior Network Engineer. The main focus of the Senior Network Engineer will involve providing network implementation and operational support in a 27/4 networking environment. Supporting Data/VolP systems for an internal network in a fast paced environment including contract centres, E-commerce, data centres and wide area networks will be integral to the role.
Role
*Displaying advanced understanding hardware, software and networking components of local, wide area, and TDM/IP-based telephony
*Act as Network lead in researching, identifying, analysing, resolving problems, and implementing solutions and/or enhancements.
*Recognizing and determining cause of, and correcting voice and data network performance degradation
*Identifying potential voice/data network security risks and recommending plan to address or eliminate risks
Skills and requirements
*Strong leadership and communication skills are a significant advantage
*Minimum of 6 years related experience required
*4-6 years in an IT functional role
*Good experience with network monitoring tools and proactive incident management
*Experience with Cisco, Citrix and Checkpoint is highly desirable.
*Cisco CCNA, CCNP or CCI Voice or Avaya ACE certifications preferred
*French Speaking mandatory
