Will work with supply chain process stakeholders in Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Customer Service and Marketing to ensure business continuity. Will be primary point of contact for communicating and managing urgent system related recovery plans. Will be required to effectively collaborate with internal and external business partners and international affiliates to identify process improvement opportunities, develop detailed options and lead effective implementations by applying a disciplined, logical and comprehensive approach to problem solving. Will also provide direction to Supply Chain and Operations Management in order to effectively propose and collaborate on developing opportunities. Required to be proficient in ERP Systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.). Will work with Business Support, area Super Users and Corporate Supply Chain functions to provide troubleshooting support, suggest and implement go-forward corrective actions to identify and maintain process integrity. The Supply Chain Process Leader will be a self directed, independent Associate who has presentation and leadership skills. Must have outstanding analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzes and characterizes broad performance characteristics within the Supply Chain processes with respect to objective, and defines effective methods and plans to implement workable solutions to achieve objectives.
Researches problems, defines and justifies solutions and methods, and obtains mid level / Sr. Management approval. Follows through on program delivery and results through completion.
Manages complex Supply Chain engineering programs from concept to successful deployment. Anticipates and resolves operational risks in order to achieve objectives.
Implement and facilitate Best Practice initiatives. Assists worldwide business in the key areas of supply chain process and systems implementation and optimization. Works closely with the various functional groups to ensure effectiveness of the Supply Chain processes and systems in meeting overall service, inventory and cost objectives.
Drive the development of supply chain organizational capabilities that facilitates the development of associates to meet current and future business requirements for improving performance outcomes.
Actively works with other businesses and regions in developing applicable solutions and programs to leverage enterprise system and process goals.
Responsible for managing the development, communication, and training associated with the metrics for their respective area. Working closely with the business, define the metric and gain consensus of definitions/specifications as well as format. Apply data based analysis to assist the business in improving key performance indicators.
Responsible for proactive communication to the Superuser network, including the facilitation of Superuser meetings as well as driving business initiatives through the organization. Works with Super Users and gives input to content for end-user ERP process and analytical training for all supply chain associates.
Works with area Super Users and Global IT team to help troubleshoot technical issues where knowledge of design and technical structures are needed. May perform testing with Global IT when for complex cross functional design changes are required. Proactively works with Supply Chain leadership to develop effective training tools as well as develop, maintain, and support driving the supply chain scorecard and 3-5 year strategic objectives. Proficient in ability to initiate and/or review and revise Standard Operating Procedures. Represents the Supply Chain organization on business-wide and industry related meetings and presentations. Continually assesses current and required work flows and business processes for designing and implementing improvements to maximize efficiencies. Follows Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures. Takes responsibility for safety in immediate work area. Participates in EH&S programs. Notifies supervisors of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices. May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment. Performs other related duties and assignments as needed.

Qualifications Must have proficiency in SAP or other similar enterprise business system; preferably in a Supply Chain related module. Displays knowledge of system configuration and system design tools.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of communicating / articulating issues, ideas, plans, and proposals to Management and individual contributor levels of the organization as well as influencing others without direct authority.

Able to effectively multitask many responsibilities, solve problems and implement decisions effectively, involving the right people in the process.

Advanced computer skills, PC or Mac, and MS Office applications (Word & Excel). Specifically, must be able to compose documents, manipulate spreadsheets and create charts or graphs.

Proven ability to engineer analytical and production 'tools' to address Supply Chain problems by using processes such as Six-Sigma, Lean and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience and/or advanced functional knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, planning customer service and other supply chain processes and procedures is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment without supervision. At least 10 years of Supply Chain related experience or a Bachelors of Science in Business, Operations, or other technical discipline combined with a 3-5 year track record of proven results in a manufacturing, supply chain or logistics environment. Graduate coursework in Business and/or other Operations is desirable.
