OSS Engineer Stockholm - Sweden1x OSS Engineer is needed on a contract basis in Stockholm Sweden for one of our prestigious clients in telecommunications. There is potential chance to turn into perm contract after 6 month. Fluent English and work permit in EUR is required for application.
Responsibilities:
Manage the OSS & IT system lifecycle management including infrastructure, application and SW for the client
Support in the setup and organization of the Delivery & Fulfillment Centre function and setup of various functions and resources for the MS delivery for customers.
Ensure OSS and NSM supports the MS services to be delivered according to contract, SLA and budget.
Manage service, network performance analysis and KPI reporting for OSS, NMS and IT systems.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of working experience in Telecommunication or IT industry.
Experience in OSS and IT operations of Telecom or larger IT networks.
Experience from OSS, and IT system administration, system architect or system solution manager and leading such functions at Operator or Vendor.
In-depth and long experience in OSS & IT operations and life cycle management.
Good general understanding of Telecom
Good project management skills and experience from IT projects, as system architect, PM or developer..
In depth/specialist knowledge level in OSS and NMS applications and system architectures. E.g. sapplications and vendors such as, Netact, OSS-RC, IBM Tivoli, ARS Remedy, Netcool, Cramer, HP-open view, Cisco management etc. Good knowledge of the FCAPS model or similar models.
Good /in-depth knowledge in API and relevant northbound and southbound interfaces for NMS/OSS systems such as corba, SNMTP,
Good /in-depth knowledge in Unix, Windows and other operative systems, OS.
Good knowledge in programming such as unix shell scripts, C, C++, VB, SQL, Linux etc
System and application administration and database administration
Good/in depth knowledge in IP, Transmission EMS, different vendor’s equipment e.g. NSN, Ericsson, Huawei, Tellabs, Transmode, ALU etc.
Computer and general IS/IT knowledge and general programming skills.
