WE’RE LOOKING FOR A WORDPRESS DEVELOPER…

…to join our busy team and multi-task on client projects in the legal, charity and business worlds.

Must be fully comfortable with:

WordPress / PHP / MySQL

Theme installation & customisation; child themes

Plugin installation & customisation

Use of leading WP plugins, custom post types etc

HTML / CSS / Javascript

WordPress-related hosting issues

Simple image editing

Content updates

Online project management tools e.g. Basecamp, timesheeting, Zendesk

Offering support directly to clients in a helpful and professional manner

A perfect candidate would also be great at (or learn quickly):

Coding original, responsive themes from PSDs

Original plugin development
SEO & analytics

Market research & business analysis

Designing original themes from scratch

Server administration

Innovative ideas & entrepreneurial spirit

Square Eye is a web design & management agency in Chiswick, West London. Our clients include several prominent barristers’ chambers, charities, Brompton Bicycle, the Royal Historical Society and the Anglican Alliance.

We’re looking for someone to be a fully-fledged member of the team, but initially in a freelance capacity. We are open-minded as to the precise working model, which may be on-site or remote or a mixture of both, full-time or part-time; but we’d like the opportunity to meet with you in person occasionally even if you work elsewhere.
