A leading Financial Services company based in North Yorkshire is urgently seeking an IT Systems & Network Engineer to join their team. They are in the middle of a growth phase, and you will take a lead role within the Systems & Network team.

Location: Skipton
Salary: £45k
Start: ASAP

As one of the IT Systems and Network Engineers, you will become the primary contact within the business for IT-related issues. This will involve providing technical support and consultancy to all staff and clients, including remote and onsite calls, providing status updates to users and maintaining documentation of resolutions.

Your role will comprise maintaining HP/DELL Servers, as well as desktops and support to managed networks.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Experience of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, including both the setup and key application operation masters.

Experience of maintaining a managed network.

A proven track record of implementing, administering and configuring servers, user accounts, profiles, policies and printers
Networking knowledge, including LANs, patching, CAT5 and TCP/IP

You must also possess knowledge and experience of the following

Software

* MS Windows 2008, AD and associated technologies
* Exchange 2010
* Hyper V
* TCP/IP Networking fundamentals
* SCVMM
* Terminal Services

Hardware

* CAT5/6 Patching
* Firewalls
* Switch config and patching

As an IT Systems and Network Engineer, you'll have technical enthusiasm and confidence. Strong communication, time management and problem solving skills are also prerequisites.
