Oracle DWH Developer
Our client, a major Financial Services company, is currently looking for an experienced and sharp minded Oracle DWH Developer with a strong Banking or Insurance background and strong technical skills.
Desription:
The application is the main data hub for the Asset Management business in Zurich and provides daily positions, securites and benchmark feeds to various Front End applications. To implement additional data requirements and increase stability and performance we are looking for an experienced Oracle developer.
Main Tasks:
- Implementation and unit-testing of business-driven functionality enhancements with Oracle PL/SQL and other Oracle functionality
- Analysis, implementation and unit-testing of performance and stability improvement measures
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of developing with Oracle in a Data Warehousing environment
- knows the whole Oracle tool offerings, especially PL/SQL
- practical experience with Market Data providers and Data Quality issues
- proven ability to deliver high-quality results in an environment with changing and conflicting priorities
- knowledge of Control-M, Unix Shell Scripting, Windows Powershell would be a preferable
- practical experience with Oracle performance tuning would be preferable
- Working experience on onshore-offshore model will be additional advantage
- languages: English is a must, German skills preferable
