Description
Responsibilities :
- Understand technical requirements (GR's) as specified in the solution document
- Development in programming languages Core Java, Web Services, JSP, Servlet, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, EJB, JMS and JMX
- Report progress of assigned activities to the Solution Architect.
- Work effectively in teams from other SI, ELS, and O&M resources.
- Proactive competence development of self in new solution areas & certification.
- Ensure strict delivery as per contracted scope with proper change management.
Required education and experience:
- Solutions like Content Management System, Portals, and Service Delivery Platform.
- Hands on experience on Core Java, Web Services, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS, Struts/Spring, JMX and Relational database management system
- Hands on experience working on web server (Apache Tomcat) and Application Server (WebLogic or JBoss).
- Should have good knowledge in writing & execution Integration, Functional and Performance tests.
- Database knowledge (Oracle 10i, MySQL).
- Should have good skills on troubleshooting tools and loves troubleshooting.
- Good aptitude in learning of working of new nodes which are added in the network.
- Good knowledge and skills in Communication
- Good knowledge and skills in Cultural Awareness
- Good knowledge and skills in Teamwork & Processes
Must have at least one of the following:
- Knowledge and experience in ParlayX Gateway.
- Knowledge and Integration interface of - Messaging Gateway, MMS, WAP, Streaming, SMLC/GMLC, SMSC, and USSD.
- Exposure to messaging protocol SMPP, CIMD, UCP and MM7
Optional (Good to have):
- Hands on experience on ESB is an added advantage
- Experience in solution like MSDP/SIG/ECE is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge and skills in Service Delivery
- Good experience in working in customer site, presentation of user acceptance testing to customer.
