Description
A manager at a top investment bank in Downtown, Manhattan is looking for a Cognos Developer to join their team.I am working directly with the hiring manager for this role and my team has recently placed with this manager, so I will certainly be able to influence the process.
The right Developer must have hands-on experience in designing Cognos reports both static and adhoc.
He or she must also have experience with Cognos Report Writer, Query Studio and Framework development.
This will be a 6+ month contract that the manager will look to constantly extend or turn full time - please do not apply unless you are interested in something long term as this is a four year project.
The rate will be based on experience, but they are looking to pay for a Senior Consultant.

Responsibilities include:
* Experience gathering or understanding requirements
* Experience working with Cognos Report Studio
* Experience using Cognos 10.x.
* Proficient in PL/SQL
* Experience using Dimensional Modeling and creating Cube Based Reports
* Experience using Framework manager
* Experience creating adhoc reports
