Our client, a major blue chip organisation are looking to recruit software test engineer.
Key responsibilities include specification, architecture, design, development, unit testing and integration for our next generation IP television server products based on Windows Server and Windows Azure.
This job specification is for a Software Development Engineer in Test with excellent Object Oriented Design and software development skills. The successful candidate will work closely with other developers, and Program Managers to develop strategies, tools and test code to test the product and constantly improve product and testing quality.
Required experience and qualifications:
- A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented software design and development
- Experience developing applications using Web and .NET technologies, including:
JSON-based service development using REST/.NET Web APIExperience with Unit Testing and MSTestFamiliarity with Windows Azure Compute/Storage/Fabric technologiesJScript, JQuery, NodeJS and BackboneMongoDBXML-based service development using MVC and/or WCF
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium
- Experience on testing Azure-based services
