My client, a leading global Managed Services Provider are looking for a strong Infrastructure Programme Manager or high-level Senior Project Manager with exposure to SAP rollout projects. This roll will be based at an end-client site in Heathrow and will be on a 3 month rolling contract basis.Responsibilities:
• Drive growth (revenue and profitability) within the portfolio - both pro-actively and in response to client driven demand
• Manage the team locally with a blend of project manager, project coordinators, service designers, security consultants, business analysts, technical architects
• Provide a realistic overall picture of the projects/initiatives within the Programme
• Drive and manage timely and relevant communication for project delivery (internal and external)
• Management of financial forecasting and resource forecasting processes
• Manage risks and issues - delivery, commercial, financial risks across the Programme
• Apply 'Best Practice' in terms of Project and Program Standards, Methods and Templates and drive innovation and thought leadership for the client
Support of Company and Client Demands:
• Development of pool skills, using a variety of methodologies, to ensure the company is able to meet client demand in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the Resourcing Team (RT) to ensure the effective deployment and management of employee rotations to the benefit of client, company and employee.
• Support the Recruitment Team in the qualification, assessment, selection new staff to this pool
• Work with the RT and Service Delivery Managers (SDMs) to ensure that legal and ethical frameworks are in place for the pool.
• Responsible for all pool weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to senior management.
• Monitor and report on client demands and IT environment demands by exception
Essential Exposure:
• Previous deliveries must include SAP rollouts
• Proven track record of delivery of large IT Infrastructure projects / programmes
• Detail knowledge of IT Operations and service
• Previous experience (with overall responsibility) for a portfolio of projects or a large scale programme with a size of £5 million or greater
• Demonstrated success in managing teams and client stakeholder management in complex organizations and dynamic environments
• Must be capable of handling numerous projects simultaneously.
• Extensive working exposure (5+ years) gained in an IT Services Organisation, ideally working for a 3rd Party Client.
• Prince2, MSP or industry equivalent
• Professional certification in relevant software or industry practise used by the group (likely ITIL, MCPs, LCPs, vendor SA certifications)
• Strong interest in personal development.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
