Based in Dublin, our client is currently seeking a Contract Signal Processing Engineer to be based on site initially for 5 months to cover for maternity leave. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in developing algorithms within an embedded processor environment ideally with commercial software experience.
Key requirements:
Digital signal processing - DSP
Five years or more commercial software experience
Demonstrated ability to develop novel signal processing algorithms
Background in digital signal processing, machine learning, pattern recognition
Proficient in the MATLAB development tool
Proficient in the C programming language
Proficient in developing algorithms within the constraints of an embedded processor environment
Experience of working in a structured software environment (e.g., to ISO 9001 quality standards)
Experience in commercialization of software
