refine+focus, a digital strategy and marketing agency, is looking for a talented and creative graphic designer to work on a variety of projects on a contract basis.Job Responsibilities:
Job specifics will vary depending on the client and project. It may include various mockups and sketches, design of print marketing collaterals including brochures, flyers, logos, presentations, print advertising, and photo manipulation and other design and production initiatives that support marketing efforts. Various online materials including banner ads, info graphics, web pages, micro sites, email templates as well as assets for social media presences like Facebook (cover, timeline images, application graphics, promotion graphics etc.), Twitter (headers, backgrounds, profile pictures, etc.) YouTube, Google+, Instagram, etc. and other design and production initiatives that support marketing efforts.
Designers will work with the Account Managers and/or Project Leads and must work within and according to client brand guidelines, creating designs that are on strategy and reflect the brand’s personality
Requirements:
Professionalism
Be able to communicate the details of your creative approach and how it relates to business objectives
Be able to execute design concepts in a quick and efficient manner, sometimes on short notice, that consistently meets defined project and business objectives
Be able to effectively communicate via email and telephone
Experienced with print and web design and production
Photo manipulation on digital images (resize, crop, add/remove objects and text, and color correction)
Knowledge in creating designs for print, web (including social media) and email
Proficiency with software for creative design, such as but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Must be organised, reliable, detail-oriented, communicative, able to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
Must be able to work in a professional, fast-paced, team environment
Portfolio showing design skills
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of web and print design and production experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred in graphic design or related field
