JP-AERO Reuire the services of an Contract Mechanical Design Engineer for a long term contract based in Lancashire. To be considered for the position you will require the following credentials

Educated to a good standard. HND/HNC
Broad based engineering experience in design and manufacturing.
Good working knowledge of complex mechanical equipment and fabrications.
Intimate knowledge of drawing principles and standards.
Good knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques.
Knowledge of materials and their uses.
Commercially aware.
Can produce designs with little or no supervision.
Can produce manufacturing detail drawings incorporating limits and fits, welding symbols, geometric tolerances and surface finish.
Able to produce technical files in conjunction with the CE certification.
Knowledge of applying relevance EH&S to legislation.
Knowledge of EFD'S, P&ID's and MFD's.
Experience of Hazop studies.
Ability to produce technical reports and documents.
IT proficient (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office).
3D CAD user (Inventor and Vault system).
2D CAD user (AutoCAD).
