Description
Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer Consultant required for a large multinational organisation based in Cork.
Reporting into a Development Manager and working on a large complex global enterprise project the successful candidate will have proven working experience in the development and support of large enterprise applications.
The Job:
*Providing technical expertise and guidance in the delivery of a major project
*Working within the development team in delivering system requests to large projects
* Troubleshooting and debugging internally developed application interfaces
* Providing support to ongoing Quality Assurance and Business Acceptance testing
* Interfacing with a large user base from various departments and business units.
Have You:
* Minimum 10 years Enterprise Project experience with at least 3 years experience on a single large project
* At least 8 years experience in Progress Application Server Development
* CGUI Development experience essential
* Experience in database performance tuning and general DBA skills an added advantage.
* Experience with Sonic ESB will be an added advantage.
* Excellent problem solving and communication skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Immediate start with rolling six month daily rate contract on offer.
