Our Client is a Global Engineering Company
Main duties:
You will complete activities for their Engineering Services in France on one of their projects which include Stress of both composite and metallic parts and assemblies.
You will need to learn quickly and understand aerospace methods and practices and their customer requirements as well as have the technical skills and ability to complete successfully stress work and other supporting tasks to time, cost and quality targets for their aerospace, and transportation industry customers.
Responsibilities and Activities:
* Stress analysis according to requirements for the specific Aircraft projects
* Stress activities including coordination, scheduling, document / process preparation and implementation.
* Problem solving activities in Stress (Primary & Secondary Structures - Metallic & non Metallic)
* Attend and participate in Stress reviews and progress meetings.
* Support the continuous improvement of the Business Unit activities.
* Good understanding of design principles for both metallic and composite materials.
* Good knowledge of Stress and Design standards, practices and procedures.
* Must have recent experience in the use of NASTRAN/PATRAN, ISAMI, Hypermesh, SAFE systems.
* Basic knowledge of CATIA V5, A350 VPM, PRIMES, DAMTOL,
* Familiar with Hand calculation and F&DT methods
* Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Good written and oral Communication skills.
Profile:
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Additional such as French would advantageous
Qualified Engineer - Essential
