Description
For my client in Brussels, a large organisation in the public sector, I am looking for Experienced ICT Technical Consultants for installation, upgrading of IT equipment and systems. This is a long term project starting in the New Year. FLUENT FRENCH AND DUTCH IS MANDATORY.
The ICT Technical Consultants are responsible for the following:
Installs and configures workstations, associated peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.) and the tools of the type of office software (MS Office, OpenOffice, etc. )
Upgrading of systems
Testing, maintenance, administration and security of IT equipment
Diagnoses and treats incidents on PCs, networks, email systems or telephone systems ( if that cannot be handled by the first line helpdesk )
Responsible for backups, storage and archiving of data
User support
Skills and experience required:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar function/for the Senior positions, the clients asks for several years of experience
Mastered the current operating systems ( Windows XP, Vista )
General hardware knowledge ( disassembly, repair, data recovery, PC etc. )
Knowledge of office software ( MS Office and OpenOffice )
