Beacon Hill Technologies has a 6 month contract opportunity for an experienced VBScript Developer.
Job Details:
* Take over development and maintenance of VBScript application with Oracle database and associated suite of programs
* Update and/or change existing software for Web based data import into Oracle Database
* Update and/or change website interface.
* Modification to Oracle Database Export routines and programs
* Ability to deliver highly technical information to a broader audience beyond the team lead while influencing within the team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Responsibilities will include:
analysis, coding, testing, programming, technical design, documentation, mentoring, and expertise with new/existing development environments.
* Ability to report status of programming efforts against plan
Qualifications:
* Required Skills: VBScript, Oracle, SQL, MS Access, Source Control Management Software
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Experience with major querying tools
* Descriptive Programming skills
* Works substantially with little supervision or oversight to deliver key milestones.
* Preferred Skills: QTP, Perforce
