SQL Server DBA - Database Administrator, SQL Server Expert
Please read on if you have extensive experience on SQL Server, from SQL 2005 through to SQL 2012.
Our client is a leading financial body, with offices in all of the world's major trading capital (London, New York, Tokyo ). As SQL Server DBA you will help them achieve a state-of-the-art environment, allowing for the highest performance and robustness possible.
You will do this via software installation and configuration, BAU administration of the infrastructure, performance tuning, upgrades and migrations of databases, disaster recovery plans and assessing new technologies before implementing them.
The client uses Windows operating systems, MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.
The role involves 24/7 on call support for about 7 days/month.
