Proteus Europe operating as an employment agency, is currently seeking a Engineering Manager.We need a engineering manager with experience of embedded software development to manage multiple customer projects using a team in York plus a development team in India.
You will have technical leadership/responsibility for the software aspects of products and solutions that are developed. You will manage day to day the software team and resources ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved. You will ensure that the software resources are developed, trained and where necessary selected to meet the needs of the business. You will lead and promote best practice in the development of cost effective hardware engineering tools, processes and solutions. You will manage the use of contractors or outsourced engineering solutions. You will promote a change management and process improvement culture. You will create technical documentation for both technical and non-technical readership
