We are seeking C++ Engineer for a 4 months contract role in Duluth, GA. Software developer responsible for platform development in C++ environment. Self-motivated multitasker with good communication skills. Must have in depth knowledge of software development under windows operating systems. Must work well with others Attention to details
Key Areas of Responsibilities include:
Writing RS232 device level interface code both for device identification as well as OPOS interface layer. Writing Functional, implementation and test specification. Writing test software Development. Environment: Experience with developing XPPro/Xpe and Win7 MFC, Win32, OLE/ATL, COM/ActiveX and C runtime Libraries and APIs Experience with MSVC 6.0, Visual Studio debugging tools Experience with Subversion Scope, Design, Implement, and Test software subsystems and components: Experience in C++ required Excellent communications skills -- Ability to communicate (present verbally or document in writing) complex technical subjects clearly. Experience with XP Multi-threaded development preferred Experience with multi-thread COM development a plus Checkout Application knowledge a plus Self Service and Retail Peripheral Knowledge a plus Education and Experience Requirements: 4-year Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree with 5+ years' experience
