Service Continuity Analyst needed for a 12 month initial term contract based in London.

- ITIL Foundations or Intermediate certification
- Understand and work effectively in an IT Service Management environment
- Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop and recommend solutions for problems/issues
- Knowledge of government program life cycles, processes and procedures
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers and senior program management
Specific Job Description
Use security risk analysis methods, tools and techniques as appropriate to identify potential exposures to application systems critical to the continuity of the organisation's business eg single points of failure, lack of effective countermeasures or lack of tested, up-to-date recovery plans.
Define prioritised actions to address the potential exposures, to a level appropriate to the organisation, for agreement by senior management.
Define the requirements for the creation, testing and maintenance of an information systems disaster recovery plan, to agreed standards, which will maintain the continuity of application systems critical to organisational existence to a level agreed by the organisation.
Co-ordinate and monitor actions to meet agreed time and quality targets for the creation, testing and maintenance of information systems recovery plans and identifies issues to be resolved.
Liaise with other IT functions regarding reviews of deliverables from systems development, changes to Service Management, implementation and maintenance activities and identify any potential changes required to IT recovery plans.
