The Client:Our client is one of Malta’s oldest and largest financial services firms that offers a full range of services including Independent Investment Advice, Live Online Trading, Fund Services, Investment Management Services services amongst others.They are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join their team. This position also offers opportunity of professional growth within this exciting company.
The role:
The individual selected for this dynamic and exciting position will form part of the IT team and will take ownership and be responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s core software applications with the aim of supporting and improving business efficiency and performance.
Skills & Requirements:
A degree BSc IT or any IT related degree
4 years general object oriented programming
2 years general experience of .NET Framework
2 years programming .NET presentation layer
2 years programming .NET business logic layer
2 years programming SQL Server database layer using ADO.Net
1 year programming Infragistics .NET controls
Experience using FLEX and JQuery will be considered an asset
Knowledge &/ or Experience in the Financial Services Sector.
Knowledge and use of the Structured and RAD methodologies.
Be able to work with minimal supervision
