Description
Due to a period of sustained success, my client is looking to add a Citizen Programmer with at least five years of Swiss Lathe programming, manual or CAM software, as well as general machine shop experience to their expanding team.Prior experience in the Medical and Aerospace Industry programming complex, close tolerance parts made from stainless steel or titanium is preferable. In the shop their are currently 4 Citizen Machines, 2 Citizen M20's, a Citizen L20, and a Citizen M432, the ideal candidate would need to be able to program and set-up these machines.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following set of skills:
- Engineering background a plus
- Load programs on machine
- Select Tools
- Write Set-Up instructions
- Work closely with different departments as well as Quality Control
- Ability to make program adjustments if necessary; Strong troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to read blue prints (both standard and metric)
- Must be able to utilize micrometers and calipers
- Must be able to perform inspections on parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Experience with small parts
- Knowledge of various types of metals including, but not limited to Titanium and Stainless Steel
- Experience in a job shop environment
- Quality and detail oriented
- Must be a team player
