A global retail bank is currently looking for and Operation Tax Manager to provide support on range of operational taxes compliance and business support matters.Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring appropriate processes and controls are in place such that UK operational tax compliance obligations are met
The ideal candidate will have:
Oversight and coordination of end to end processes operated within Tax and other functional areas to ensure accurate and timely delivery of UK operational taxes returns, information returns and associated correspondence to HMRC, including:
oCT61 returns
oT16/17/18 ESD reporting
oISAs reporting
*Training of teams in other functional areas on tax requirements and framework for managing tax *Driving compliance with corporate governance controls and escalation of breaches
*ACA/CTA qualified
*A working knowledge of other operational tax areas (eg SDRT, FTT, QI regime, FATCA)
*Either:
oGood working knowledge of UK TDSI rules and ISAs; or
oProven ability in management of regulatory reporting processes or experience in a risk and controls role
