My client is looking to bring on a Credit Support Analyst to join their team in Arlington, VA.

Major Responsibilities:
  • The Credit Support Analyst plays a key role in analyzing and identifying risk factors in the approval packages of prospective mortgage brokers.
  • Additionally, the Broker Administrator performs ongoing risk monitoring for our 800+ approved brokers and assists in highlighting problems and trends thought the following work: Process new Broker applications to ensure that all approval packages are complete and accurate.
  • Conduct all necessary background checks and enter all data in the Broker Approval/Broker Administration system or the Seller Approval/Seller Administration system.
  • Maintenance of Broker- monitor, report, collect, and record all documentation received from the Broker.
  • Maintain all information in the Broker Administration database and provide reports on required documentation and updates from the Brokers and Sellers.
  • Coordinate annual recertification of existing Brokers through an organized system of documentation gathering and follow-up communication and reporting. Track and report all activity weekly. Communicate with the Brokers, Management, and Account Executives to complete project.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting as needed - Applications in Progress, Recertification Tracking, Lock & Funding Reports by AE, Quarterly Broker/Seller Approval and Activity Reports.
  • Act as a customer service liaison by assisting clients. Support the Manager - Credit Support in new projects and initiatives to improve the efficiency of the Client Services team. Experience and Education: 2-3 years experience in mortgage industry.
  • College Degree or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel strongly preferred. Exceptional communications, data accuracy, analytical ,and time management skills (ability to multi-task).
