Decoist is an affluent web magazine about interior design and architecture. We try to inspire our readers with articles that will change their homes. From new furniture designs to DIY projects and painting ideas, we try to make people's lives easier when it comes to decorating.The team is now expanding and we're scouting for talents who would genuinely enjoy working for a magazine that is ceaselessly evolving and expanding.
The new writer / editor would have to be passionate about interior design and should know a thing or two about blogging. We're looking for those who know how to engage people online; which means you would know how to style up an article (images, text, headings) in Wordpress, how to choose titles and to follow the Decoist etiquette. Another plus is knowing a thing or two about social networks (pinterest, twiter, G+, facebook).
REQUIREMENTS
We're mainly looking for editorials that are a minimum of 600 words, with 10-25 pictures depending on the style we choose (how to do certain things, how to decorate a certain places, etc). Please don't be worried about pictures, it's all part of the training; we'll help you (at first, until you get the idea/the whole process)to produce the most visually appealing content.
Amazing English skills are also a must.
Regarding payments, Decoist will pay $15 per article (via Paypal; weekly, monthly or even daily). The price will increase with time if you enjoy the company and prove to be a great person to work with.

How to apply
