Computer Futures are currently working with a Public Sector Client who are urgently looking for a Senior Support Engineer to start immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an excellent team in the public sector with over 4,000 members of staff across the trust, based in one of the most culturally diverse areas in London.Key Responsibilities
* Must have excellent experience in planning, designing and maintaining enterprise-class networks.
* ITIL experience
* Must have expertise of production LAN/WAN.
* Strong technical background in Layer 2, Layer 3, & Layer 4-7 routing, switching and application switching technologies.
* Maintain network and company standards and documentation.
* Creating roadmaps and delivery as well as providing input into the overall strategic direction of the network infrastructure.
* Assisting in the creation of network and security standards and templates to allow the business to grow in a structured manner
Skills and experience:
* Routing and Switching - Cisco Switches and Routers.
* Firewalls - Cisco ASA & Checkpoint.
* Corporate Wireless - Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Wireless
* Monitoring - Experience of SNMP and Syslog.
* MPLS, IPSEC VPN
* Wireless VOIP & Security technologies
* Lead design discussions and product life cycle road maps
Desirable skills and experience:
* Cisco Certified - CCNP minimum
* Experience of Cisco Routing and Switching to Cisco CCIE level
