In order to broaden and improve the product range, my client requires a Control System Engineer for the site inYorkshireon a permanent basis.

In order to broaden and improve the product range, we are looking to bring in a Control System Engineer to work at the site inYorkshireon a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will join a small team of developers working for a leading supplier of winding and label converting equipment. This position requires a wide range of skills including variable speed and servo drives, PLC programming and HMIs. There will be a considerable amount of software content and the candidate should be able to implement complex programs covering a wide range of machine functions.

The projects start at the design stage, creating the schematic drawings for the electrical control system and progress to writing the PLC and HMI control code culminating in the commissioning of the machines to the validation stage.

In terms of experience, the successful candidate will possess excellent time management and problem solving skills, have strong written and verbal communication skills with a good aptitude and knowledge of control systems.

An articulate and effective communicator, successful candidate should be confident, proactive individuals who can work in a customer facing and demanding environment.
