My Client an Investment Bank based in Brussels, requires a Data Management & Project Support, within Finance.

Function Description:

Data management:

- Operational Management of Data (a.o extraction/caption of data from source applications, transformation in the required referential, creation of input sheets, load of data in tool);

- Ensure daily communication on the follow-up of the closing process towards the users of Espace Privatif (ie Management Control and Cost Management);

- Maintenance and update of referentials, mapping used (Chart of Account, Organisational Structure, etc.);

- Maintenance, update and improvement of the tools, procedures and process used/executed by the team;

- Controls and Reconciliations with other systems to ensure quality of data;

Project support role:

- Documentation of procedures, process;

- Proposal and implementation of changes to improve our tools, procedures, process;

- Analysis of the new requirements/change requests of the users and implementation of the solution;

- Automation of procedures;

- Intermediary with IT department and Group MOA;

- Provide Training, guidance and user support on Espace Privatif/Matisse Gestion and Excel Add-In/Smartview to our internal clients (mainly Management and Cost Controllers);

- Preparation of the training material;

- Testing (preparation and execution);

- Participation to New Matisse Gestion project of (mainly testing);

- Participation to other required tasks in relation to his/her qualification and knowledge

Education & Soft skills

Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in a financial environment:

  • Team player

  • Good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural

environment

  • Flexible, accurate & control minded.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of Finance, Reporting,

Informatics

  • 5 years of relevant experience

Mandatory:

MS Access, Excel Advanced (a.o Pivot Table,creation and adaptation of macros), VBA, Powerpoint, Word, Excel Add-In, Business Objects

Preferable:

  • Business Objects (a.o universe Cristal, BGM, Galilei, Opale,etc.)
  • Greco
  • Smartview,

Language:

  • French - Fluent in writing, speaking and understanding
  • Dutch - Basic speaking and understanding
  • English - Good writing, speaking and understanding
