Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for a Consultant in Mixed Signal Testing. You will be part of a small team responsible for the development and deployment of methods supporting the DfT task for HPMS designs. We aim to investigate and deploy methods and solutions, encapsulated in scripting and tooling, based on the combined expertise of the team : Test, diagnosis, analogue simulation, software. Our focus is to improved defect coverage, test program optimisation and improved diagnosis/failure analysis of Analogue/Mixed Signal/RF designs.Your role will include supporting customers with methods to solve specific technical problems and translating remaining customer requirements (both current and future) into development opportunities for methods, tools and flows.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Depending on previous experience, your responsibilities will include providing consultancy, focusing on the deployment of (new) solutions and the identification of new requirements for the future portfolio:
• Act as a contact person for customers.
• Participate in specific customer projects with a focus on deploying new methods, tools and flows in the design community.
• Collect feedback on new requirements / issues in the field, develop methodology to address these requirements and the specifications to implement them. Work with the TFS team on realisation.
• Provide first line support to our customers in this area (AMS Designers and Test/Product Engineers predominantly) and second line support in areas of specialisation:
• Track the progress of (problem) reports; and escalate if needed.
• Provide hands-on support in the areas of expertise.
• Drive alignment with existing and potential partners (EDA vendors, universities, design teams).
• Follow developments within the domain, propose and execute benchmark activities as appropriate.
• Test new versions of our tools and flows.
• Develop/maintain user documentation (manuals and application notes).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• You hold a BSc or MSc degree in a relevant domain.
• You have 3-5 years experience with analogue/mixed signal design (front-end simulation/verification, backend design) and an affinity for automation and scripting.
• You are motivated to translate your knowledge into solutions that improve design efficiency and quality for teams.
• During your education and career so far, you have demonstrated that you are creative, an excellent team player, ambitious, and eager to learn.
• You have good communication skills and experience in presenting yourself and your (technical) work, both orally and in writing.
• You have a good command of English language.
