Insight Analyst / Analyst / Data Analyst / Senior Insight Analyst / Senior Customer Insight Analyst / Insight Analytics / Analytics / Insight / SQL / Regression modelling / R / SAS / SPSSSenior Insight Analyst required by leading and highly successful London based disability charity. As Senior Insight you will be responsible for rigorous and sophisticated data analysis and interpretation, alongside the provision of actionable recommendations to the charity's key suppliers. This insight will be generated from evaluation of the supporter database and utilised to inform the development of budget and marketing plans, including forecast volumes / values (i.e. response, attrition, upgrade, and Gift Aid). You will also be required to identify and commission data analysis activities that influence the Audience Management programme (e.g. supporter financial value, supporter lifetime value, value bands, supporter journeys, and retention activity.
Other responsibilities will include:
Leading the development of supporter data capture, preferences and feedback analysis and segmentation and targeting strategies, together with the development of supporter hierarchies and rules of engagement for all individual supporters in line with the Audience Management Programme.
Managing and supporting numerous Analysts.
Presenting and communicating market information obtained to relevant managers and teams whilst facilitating their understanding of the implications (especially those related to planning, budgeting and decision making).
Advising managers/teams on execution of fundraising campaigns, through advice on targeting, testing methodologies and response analysis.
Providing insight consultancy services to Fundraising Section Heads and Unit Managers to enable them to conceive, design, develop, deliver and evaluate strategies across all fundraising areas (from strategic concept to operational roll-out).
This role will see you working closely with the Fundraising Strategy & Planning Unit to provide data expertise that informs Group planning, and building effective working relationships with external suppliers.
Suitable candidates will have extensive experience with SQL, SAS (or SPSS), Customer Relationship Management, and will possess strong regression modelling skills, together with commercial acumen, and excellent relationship building, management, and negotiation skills.
A numerical degree, together with experience with Strategy development and Alterian or Chaid is desirable, although not a prerequisite.
This role is suitable for someone that has previously worked within the charity sector, or another sector but wishes to give back and add value to a non-for profit organisation.
As this role requires the Senior Insight Analyst to work only between the hours of 9am-5pm, this is also an ideal role for someone hoping to achieve a work / life balance.
