Description
To support the design, development and implementation of end user computing models for Treasury Market & Liquidity Risk.Key Accountabilities:
- Support business requirement gathering and technical design
- Responsible for technical development and testing of EUCs
- Responsible for producing supporting documents (eg, maintenance guide, user operating procedure, data flow)
- Responsible for training business end users
- Ad hoc post live technical support to business end users
- Provide regular status updates to management
- Support EUC delivery planning
- Liaise with IT and Business to agree EUC dependencies (eg, data feeds, hands in and out)
Skills:
Essentials
- Experience in Retail bank / Treasury
- Experience in end user computing model development
- Strong development skills using Access, Excel, VBA and SQL
- Ability to manipulate large volume of data in Access and Excel
- Understanding of relevant financial markets
- Understanding of financial reporting, relevant accounting standards and financial products
- Managing relationships with diverse senior stakeholders both internal and external
- Good communication skills - effective engagement with senior bankers across Verde and ability to simplify complex topics for delivery to executive-level audiences
- Analytical and numerate - ability to rapidly absorb, review and refine new concepts
- Excellent problem solving skills - able to produce options at short notice based on rapidly changing scenarios
- Good prioritisation and team leadership skills
